Whatever you make can be commercialized, don't fall for fads Be your own innovator. If you like sampling, feel free and do it. Be creative. Sometimes you have to just let all the technical stuff go.

ive observed that when i make something, and i feel like absolutely nobody on earth can fukk with me when im listening to it...

it ends being something nobody likes except me...

just supporting your point. i make shyt i the way i want to hear it. so if nobody listens to my shyt i definitely am. i think im one of the illest artists i ever heard

Im in the same boat.. i like the tracks i make even if i dont get plays like that.. i need to make time to polish my tracks tho.. i got way to many loops on soundcloud and i need to get into the habit of making actual songs but right now ill just keep vibin

that shyt is too true. sometimes i'll try to make an ____ kind of beat. a whatever is 'hot at the moment' type beat, just because. it's really an exercise just to see if it i can pull it off. i usually can...but to me, it always sounds like me trying to make a beat that sounds like ____. maybe not to other people but to me, it's definitely type of shyt.

but when you go back to making the shyt you wanna hear, it's pure and honestly, it's infinitely more satisfying, not only to make but to listen to. that's when you start really feeling it

so @producingfire is totally right. just make the shyt you wanna make...if you put it out there, find the right avenues, you'll find an audience for your music.
