MADtv is greatly under-appreciated

Was on the top of the food chain as far as Sketch Comedy TV shows. It was always better than SNL imo
For a good 5-6 year stretch, 1997-2002, nothing was funnier than MADtv

Yep definitely agree...I recently bought the season DVDs from 1-4 and I can't wait for season 5 to drop...season 4 was when it hit its zenith so I would say from about 1999-2006 was the perfect MADtv time

Funnier then SNL to me, They might lack in celebs and music groups they made up with some over the top skits. Woundn't have key and peele.

I fukked with MadTV hard back in the day, but it's not better than all of SNL's 20+ years.

out of all the sketch comedy shows (SNL, In Living Color, MadTV, etc...) they never really produced lasting careers after the show went off the air.
for whatever I reason I never understood.
