What happened to his deal with Viacom? You would think they’d get first drop before Netflix.
I think he does TV shows for Viacom but movies seem to be offered to the highest bidder. That last movie with the bad wigs was on Netflix.
You're right as Paramount Pictures (Viacom) is supposed to have first-look rights with any feature film projects. So it's more than likely a situation of where Netflix is willing to pay his asking price for those movies where Paramount Pictures said no.
You'd think that Netflix would tell him to do a better job with production, but people are going to watch it anyways so lol.
