made oatmeal banana nut pancakes

I grounded a couple cups of oatmeal in the blender until it became flour then blended in a banana and almond milk. I then cooked them l like regular pancakes and drizzled honey on top. shyt was healhty ane fire at the same damn time

The sugar to nutrient ratio is very high. Aside from shyt like pomegranate, dark berries, kiwis etc. I like to get my nutrients from veggies. If I'm gonna have sugar I'm going balls deep into some Reese's cups or something.

Is it on the level of Kale, Spinach or Lean Chicken? No.

But compared to conventional pancakes then it's a step up.

Oatmeal has more fiber than white flour.

Bananas ALONE are good for a sweet edge. I think tossing in berries is a better look as they contain more fiber than just a banana.

The almond milk, provided its unsweetened, has more protein and less calories than regular regular milk.

The honey is a hard sell though (depending on the serving size).

All in all it's a healthier version of a Sunday only/once in a while type meal
