I love mixing samples and compositions

Sometimes it's like you don't even know if it is a sample or not, I love that shyt

I also love taking something and flipping it WAY outta the box

Like when I flipped Reading Rainbow, or Ace of Base, which were both challenges presented by other posters

Hate when people slight the skill involved because you are using others compositions

Yea it's all art at the end of the day. Sometimes people just need something to vent about so they just find excuses to vent on a particular art form. Yet they forget it's all art at the end of the day. Some people will appreciate it, and others will frown upon it.

Props banks.. I sample everything it doesn't matter to me if it sounds good I will sample it.
I am similar...

In fact, I prefer to sample very popular music of any genre...My challenge is taking a song that most people know, and turning it into something that they can't recognize any more, while still making it sound dope...

I think producers who use rare samples are "cheating" a little bit, unless they provide the original music, so we can judge how they skilfully flipped it...

It is so GREAT to listen to the original and then listen to the flip, to REALLY appreciate what was done...

Definitely it's all about being creative.
