En vogue
Lutha
Dawn says that they were desperate and needed money
Their manager got them on a tour with Vandross
Luther made them sign a contract
-They could not wear the colors Red, Blue, White and Black.
-They could not walk pass Luther Vandross dressing room while walking to the stage. He'll call the cops on you if you do.
-They could not wear anything that attracted light. No glitter, No sparkles, No sequins, No rhinestones none of that.
-Only Luther Vandross and his girls could be glitzy. One of his girls being the legendary Lisa Fischer.
Dawn says the girls were getting bad reviews on the tour for looking dull. Reports of them having none of the sex appeal and glamor En vogue was known for.
Dawn says once they got to Dallas they got a loan from their record label and went wardrobe shopping. Dawn got some Versace thigh highs and the next day Luther went to the same store and bought him the same pair.
