I see your points, but the contradiction with Lupe the man and MC is too big.

I am not a big fan of his music so i dont know all the topic he covers, but he seems smart enough to know what is damaging. He can speak his mind on records, but this guy goes out his way to cause an uproar with basic 'attention whoring Obama comments'

Bush messed shyt up, so it takes time to sort things out. He is doing good public relation work that Bush destroyed and is implementing strategies to keep USA prospering and safe .... Lupe claims to be about it politic/humanitarian well this should be common knowledge.

anyway, I think before you can be vocal on Obama (yes, as a black man) you should think twice saying it in public especially (a public figure-Lupe) because a lot of kids and people dont know much about Politics but they are happy as a lark to see, they can pretty much go anywhere from 2012 beyond .... as well as hiphop, ozwald boatang, etc, etc, there are no corners you will not be welcomed if you have earned your merit.
