Face isnt a punchline rapper, he gets straight to the point. Ive recited many of his words in my head because they were interesting enough to resonate somehow and remain there.
I listened to Kendrick and heard a lot of words but nothing really stood out and stuck. Not saying hes wack as hes far from that, just want more creativity and poignancy.
Kendrick isn't a one line rapper, his creativity comes in the concepts
the reason why kendrick is a top rapper is because his music sounds good, which is the most important factor of being artist

the fact he can tell a story using a metaphor all while making it radio friendly prove he is top tier, because there's no other artist out right now that can do that

personally I think he's jealous of the love and accolades Kendrick gets. He wishes he had the career Kendrick has.

If being in the game is good enough for you thats fine.Garbage is harsh, But it sounds like you think his career is dissapointing too. Meanwhile Kendrick is exceeding expectations,hopefully he is studying Kendrick and trying to figure out what he can do to have a greater career and be a better musician. Big time failure of a career when you think about who was in Lupes corner starting out. But I think his career is actually accurate,Kendrick did what he was supposed to do based on who he had in his corner,and has actually done more. Kendrick is bashed for having a machine behind him and living up to the hype,where as Lupe was overated due to having a machine behind him,but just failed to the point the machine couldn't even carry him.
