nothin really special, its a real life detective show, they go to a city wit high murder rate, follow homicide dectives around as they look for clues to solve murders, every show has people snitching and telling on they selfs and others, they show the details on how they break people and make them tell on they selves wit lies and bullshyt, the show has been going on for like 7 years now and im still unsure why dudes dont ask for a lawyer off the dump, but this is the first year of it in new orleans(which is one of the worst cities in murder rate in US, and probably has the lowest conviction rate also)

I saw that earlier this morning and I can totally see now why the murder rate in New Orleans is so high. Those had to be the dumbest cops I have ever seen, on First 48 or even in real life period. No wonder nikkas literally get away with murder down there.

That white cop Detective Tim Bender actually was about to buy that bullshyt story that dude Brandon was giving him about some dude driving by and tossing him the murder weapon. Then he was even about to let the witness go before he even thought about showing them a line up with that nikka Brandon in it. Like that would have been the first picture I showed the witness. That nikka story didn't even make any sense. Then the plain clothes lady cop who bought him in at the beginning was like "we found him in possession of stolen things". Like what the fukk does that even mean!?!?!?!

And those 2 Black cops was dumb as hell too. The light skinned one sounded like he had down syndrome and the dark skinned one seemed slow too. NOPD should be ashamed of themselves for hiring morons like that. With the reputation of the NO I was expecting some street savvy detectives who was on they job but those cops down there seemed like they was they was in Mayberry or some shyt.

It was okay last night. It was a little slow. But yeah, i agree with them being bad cops. lol. The whole time I was thinking that i wouldn't want them solving a case for me. The black dudes detective works consisted of driving around going "say breh, what you know bout dat murda."

Sadly my first thought was, no wonder they aren't solving shyt down there.

Let me get one of those Miami Cubans first. They handle their business. Then one of those white dudes from Texas.

Yeah that black cop wasn't trying to do no work. nikka didn't even get out the car and walk around the neighborhood. Just drove around the block and leaned out the window talking to random people. If the NYPD is an example of a police force on they job then the NOPD is the exact opposite.
New Orleans got big city crime with a small town police force. That's a recipe for disaster.

I used to watch this show frequently, but it got really depressing...

There was one case about a mother murdered, slumped off in the driver's seat with her children still in the car sitting in the backseat...

That made me really emotional, I'm sure there's worse ones but I think I stopped watching after that

You can learn alot from that show. Like the episode where the dude played middle man for a drug deal when he wasn't bout that life. Could've easily been me back in the day trying to be cool. That episode hit me the hardest esp since nobody got caught.
