They're in position but they still haven't done anything. They could add Cam Johnson right now but they still haven't done it. I'm skeptical on them until they actually do something.

They fukking facilitated Gafford and PJ Washington to the Mavs last year for godsakes.
They haven't had the opportunity. nikka, what are you talking about? When has a superstar been available on the open market?

Breh, please think about what you just said. Like really. Come on man, really. We seen this nikka knife through a Suns team that was just in the finals. Like stop it. Where is this hate coming from?
Even then that's still more than what AD could do as a number 1 option

Teams that would offer a massively better deal:
OKC
Cleveland
Boston
shyt, any great team outside of Denver
Memphis
Indy

Memphis would trade Ja and Indy would trade Haliburton. Who the fukk are we kidding, we are talking Luka Doncic everyone but Giannis, Wemby, Jokic, and Tatum is available and Tatum is probably available too.

I don’t think those teams would’ve given up a ton for Luka right now before him signing the Supermax with Dallas this summer. He’s no longer eligible for the Supermax so it won’t cost him nearly as much to walk in free agency. The Lakers are marquee so they’re confident they’ll be able to keep him. If those other teams traded for him right now there’s a good chance he walks. It’s rumored Miami didn’t want to give Butler extension because they were clearing up space to sign Luka.

No I keep running to ask what these better deals are and so far all I have gotten is the future, a bunch of picks and maybe, not even guaranteed, a nikka that's in college now.
I'm with you. Dallas wanted to still compete for a chip this season.

With that prerequisite in mind, nobody can name a better player they could have gotten than AD.

The only team that comes to mind to me is Houston, but they don't have one player right now that is better than Anthony Davis, but they would be able offer a compelling offer.

Detroit Lions, Michigan Wolverines & LWO
Nobody did shyt in the Warriors era though.

Harden era?:mjlol:

What team in the west is on that level now?
Thats my point. AD was not going to beat The Dubs or Rockets. Luka playoff history would look just like AD if he played in that era

A washed Dubs gentleman swept his ass and won against the team that handed Luka his ass

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
It kind of does when you have random fags come in your thread shytting up the place and saying Bron’s tenure>Kobe’s (a Laker legend that stayed his whole career and brought them five rings) or whining about not mortgaging the team’s future for a playoff run for a 40 year old man’s legacy. Yeah, I’d irrationally hate the fans too. Bron is a lifelong mercenary. He belongs to no franchise. Are we going to give KD the same leniency since every Lestan hates him for “ruining basketball” (beating Bron at his own game from 2017-2019) by going to GSW?
Bruh you a smarter guy than this...

First of all, all LeBron heads dont think KD "ruined basketball", I've never said that one time. Also, many of us are also Durant fans----->we're just more so Bron fans...

I've got plenty of posts on here defending Durant...

Fan talk is fan talk, mf's can be irrational. If you a fan of ball you shouldn't have a real "hate" for LeBron, even if you don't like how he plays or his personality...
From there but no I don’t live there anymore and haven’t lived there in a while. I probably should have said the Laker fans I know so that is my mistake.
I dig it. I'm not from LA either but lived there as a kid and I was just back there last year. The Laker fans I know, in Los Angeles, don't hate LeBron, but both sides exist, both pro-LeBron and anti-LeBron, I'm sure...

I don't know anyone in LA with as strong negative opinions about Bron as you hear on here, and I've got a big LA family and know a nice amount of Black Angelenos...
Dont listen to him breh. He not from LA neither.

LA dont care about Bron like that, never did. Dont let LeGBT write the story :laff:
You so angry, you too old for this weak trolling, fam 🤣 you and your alleged circle don't speak for Black Angelenos in the city, but you can pop it on here where most these nikkas never been around Laker heads in LA 🤣...

I know folk in the league that said they would have traded the house if they knew Luka was available. The HOUSE. Not the kitchen. Not the living room. THE ENTIRE HOUSE. Come on man, everything is available for Luka but Jokic, Giannis, and Wemby.

This was an unprecedented, idiotic move by Dallas. We're on the same page with this.

But OKC has not made a big splash as far as trades are concerned with this current group. Everyone knew they were too small last season and they helped Dallas get PJ and Gafford, which doomed them in the second round.

There are guys they could make godfather offers for right now if they wanted to be aggressive and really load their team. They really only have four guys as their core: SGA, Dub, Chet and iHart. Everyone else can be upgraded.

They couldn't get Cam Johnson if they wanted? New Orleans is a complete disaster. They couldn't offer enough for Trey Murphy? Bruce Brown wouldn't help them? Last time I checked, they are allowed to initiate trade talks.

Let's see what they do before the deadline because it would be inexcusable for them to sit on their hands.

You can't cash your chips in if you have no one to cash them in on.

Thank you. People keep missing the "win now" aspect of this. Regardless if fans think they can or cannot win, THEY think they can, so that's how they're going to approach the trade talks. With intentions of helping them win right now. Which AD does far more than a bunch of picks over the next 5 years.
But if you wanna win now I imagine there could have been better offers. Would the Bucks have swapped Giannis? Maybe call the Suns and try to get KD & Book?

I’d argue Giannis would be available too simply because of the conversation of him being disgruntled and wanting to leave the Bucks all the time
