I think they're pretty close on paper but when you see Luffy fight you can see that he knows what he's doing Naruto looks like he's lost out there at times.

I just know from reading their powers, Luffy has too much reach and haki.

The closest Naruto has to haki is sennin-mode and he ain't even perfected that yet.

That's what I'm thinking. I don't reckon Naruto is built to withstand the type of beating that Luffy is capable of dishing out. Jet Gattling would have Naruto like .

Luffy has shown himself to be quite pragmatic in battle. I see Naruto giving Luffy a lot of problems but there's no way he's getting close enough to him to land a Rasengan on him.

Naruto right now is faster than Luffy. And has strength and durability feats that are just as great. Plus he doesn't need to hit him with the rasengan when he can spam rasengan when in Rikudo mode.

That's true actually I'm just remembering how fast Naruto has shown himself to be recently. Luffy probably does lose out on mobility but I get the feeling that's not too much of a problem for Luffy since he defeated Enel who moved at lightening speed.
