thats why i love boxing..the theater of the unexepcted....this fight on paper was a complete mismatch and it turned out to be the first and leading FOTY candidate for this year..5KD's, blood and gore, drama, heart..can't beat it

I feel a litle conflicted by this fight.


On one hand, this was supposed to be a showcase fight to show that Lucas Matthysse is back and they gave him a 135lb fighter as a "gift" to look dominant in there with.....and he didnt.


On the other hand, as a boxing fan, it was a GREAT fight with alot of suspense and back and forth action, plus kd's/blood/gore/drama/heart like @patscorpio said already


FOTY so far, definitely, and a huge surprise. Made my viewing night much better


to both Matthysse and Molina for getting in there and going all out like they said they would

Great fight, but Lucas has completely regressed to a 100% dirty ass dummy fighter, when he used to be a damn good counterpuncher.......He needs balance


Regardless if Lucas doesn't retire young like he spouted in the past, he will be a big part of the future, he needs to avoid Swift and Chino, aside from that I feel he beats any other fighter from 140-147 not named Floyd...................................

Even when he was winning I knew he had no chance, most people don't understand firstly how hard it is to get cut on the back of the head, secondly they dont understand how cuts hurt and how they truly affect fighters...........Son was leaking all over the damn place
