i most definitely did not pay proper attention to this match,or appreciate it to the level it deserves to be awed at&savored..

i admit it twas a super spot fest,not much selling,and a few moves bordering on ridiculous,but the fukkin sheer athleticism,the martial arts kicks(not bunk ass superkicks),and the tenacity/psychology(esp the Japanese cats)twas a remarkable rendition,a wrasslin Art Of War scribe,a gruesome bodacious ballistic bombastic ballet..!

anyone else remember this match..

This was my favorite match for years after I started looking up old ECW and eventually became a fan of the indies. My brother and I especially loved the 450 Splash in the little space Hayabusa had in the corner turnbuckle and the 5 Star Frog Splash outta nowhere!

when i twas that young i only knew that NJPW and other Japanese federations existed because of PWI&other wrasslin mags beside WWF mag,i knew there were Japanese wrestlers in WWF&NWA,maybe there were some in AWA and WCCW but i don't remember them..

ECW twas so fukkin dope,when they were in their heyday i really didn't watch much wrasslin(i go through prolonged periods of watching religiously&then not watching for months),and when i did it twas obviously WWF or WCW..we didn't get it on any local cable stations out here in Frisco/The Yay Aerial..

shyt's hella fun catching up and watching it now dough,i'm turning into something of a wrasslin nerd now,been watching hardcore for almost two years now and trutfully i like it much more then 'traditional' sports these dayze..i even attend local shows now,they're mad more fun then beisbol,futbol,or peach basketball..

wrasslin is more then just entertainment or sport,that shyt is an elegant artform...
