Low Key: Was Aquaman better than Black Panther ?

I know we aint had a super hero of our own but aquaman was crazy good.

The first 30 minutes alone had OD action, the story was good, only corny thing with Aquaman was those white soldiers who looked like power rangers (poor special effects).

Whilst black panther was significant overall for black people, I watched it again last night and was underwhelmed. There wasn't that much action/fighting, but it was a good first watch

No. Anyone with ears can tell the writing in BP was head and shoulders above Aquaman.

Third act was better shot in Aquaman and it had better CG overall but that's not enough

Better on action scenes and very good visuals but the story was too powerful in BP for Aquaman to compare.

I'll check out Aquaman, but Black Panther was culturally significant for black people, Aquaman is a fun night out.

For action scenes and visuals yeah, but thats where it ends.

The script for Aquaman was completely cheesy and crap compared to Black Panther. BP had an overall richer story and better characters.

Anyway... I dont know how Aquaman didn't get an Oscar nomination for VFX yet Black Panther did the VFX in the movie were trash

Beating BP action sequences isn't hard. Touching the story line and acting is.

The next BP better have proper effects and cinematography. I said it wouldn't age well when it dropped and folks were on my head.
