Low key.......... The Walking Dead (original) has been fire for about 2-3 seasons now.

The most recent episode was great, along with most of the whisperer saga and this season with the other groups. The commonwealth story has given the show a new type of energy, and the Maggie/Negan dynamic has played out well, probably the best angle of the storytelling right now.

TWD has always done a good job of creating somebody you want deaded lol, from Governor, to the white boy who got the "tainted meat" comment from D Lo Barksdale, to Alpha and Beta, ect. However, I never felt that way about Negan. There was not a single point in the show where I wanted Negan deaded, except for how bad the storytelling was at that point in time.

These nikkas have came a long way from the time of the Saviors. I could honestly do a bunch of more seasons with actual full fledged communities on the show.

I stopped watching a few seasons in, production values sucked and the writing was trash. Not sure I can sit through that many seasons for it to get good towards the end

Most people have stopped watching. The show used to average 14 million viewers weekly and nowadays it struggles to hit 2 million.

Once Scott Gimple got promoted and was replaced by Anglea King as showrunner, the show has gotten tremendously better. It was the season after the Saviors storyline ended and when Rick got written off. Was very surprised how the show continued to improved after losing it's main character, but it did

Seasons 9/10 i enjoyed everybot as much as some of the first 4/5…thing is when u lose an audience like they did, you can never go back. Im not sure if it was the Glenn thing, cliff hanger at season 6, or the drawn out plot of Negan (before his reveal) but something happened and it was like over night. I know alot of people jumped at the Glenn part. But thats a top 3 episode in the series and thought shyt was about to get real only for 2 seasons off bullshyt.
