WHAT I like best of all is that the size of St. Louis means we now run into people we know at the playground and the post office and the farmers’ market. In several instances, we’ve developed friendships after we bumped into the same people in more than one setting — the mother and son duo my daughter and I took a baby music class with, then saw again two years later when the children were in the same preschool, or the couple we met through my college classmate before we all happened to move onto the same street.

St Louis is probably not the best example to bring up as far as loving where you live, but I agree about the Midwest. KY is technically considered south, but feels more Midwest to me than anything else.

Yea, KY is a borderline state like MO is tho. But the culture aint all that different, maybe just a little more southern over there. I'm just waiting for all these demons from the coast to come and start hating

Two nights ago, 17 people where shot in a span of 2 hours here


Then last night, a cop got his car shot up with 20 rounds down on Whittier and Evans...

I can't explain why i love this place

It just feels like one big community. I might go other places in my life soon but I know I have to raise my kids here.... Just can't think of anywhere else as home.

I love all of it. The ghetto parts, the bougie parts, rich west county, honky tonk south county...

I'm not sure that's the best article to use if you're going to talk about how great the midwest is. it's all about how great it is to raise a kid in St. louis.

people are nicer out there though, I'll give you that. Half those states have nothing in them though. Like Oklahoma's biggest attraction is a fukking highway.

Hit Hollywood(used to be harrahs)casino on a Friday night, that shyt be jammed packed on fridays.. Ain't do too much damage, threw a tree thru a solid brick wall, fukked up cars an blew off part of the roof............ nikkaz kept gamblin tho
