Rest in peace to that young girl. I wish I could say I never heard of something like that ever happening before. Especially with that age difference. Ain't no way a 20 year old was going to be dating my 16 year old daughter. My daughters already know I'm not playing about that type of shyt. Where is her father? I would have told the big fat 35 year old looking lesbian to stay the fukk away from my daughter or else.
(L-R): Glen'Keithan Robertson, 21 and Dashayla Ardoin, 17
Dashayla Ardoin, 17, was shot and murdered by her 21-year-old boyfriend, Glen’Keithan Robertson in an apparent murder–suicide while they were headed to her homecoming dance in Louisiana.
The couple was found dead from gunshot wounds inside a car along a highway in Acadia Parish just after 7 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 12), according to Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
“From the investigation, this case is believed to be a murder/suicide,” the official statement read.
Sheriff KP Gibson told PEOPLE they believe Robertson was the shooter, but Sheriff Gibson and other investigators have yet to uncover the motive behind the killings.
They did confirm that Ardoin and Robertson were headed to Mamou. Ardoin was a student at Mamou High School, which was celebrating its homecoming that evening, per the school’s Facebook. At the time of the incident, there were no other people in the car and no other injuries to report.
As the tragic news unfolded, Mamou High issued a statement via Facebook. “Lord, we pray for peace, strength, and understanding as we return to school tomorrow without one of our own. Please keep our students and staff, as well as the family and friends of Dashayla, in your prayers. Dashayla will always be remembered for her courage and bravery, her kind heart, and her beautiful smile. She was so very loved and will be dearly missed,” it read.
Robertson was a local DJ under the moniker, DJ Titanic. One of the pinned posts on his Instagram was of him and Ardoin from July 2024, captioned, “Me & You Against The World.”
