u could tell us what u need from your phone and why would it be obvious that your leaning to the 5? you not obligated to continue the icycle...
Go to a store n try out some of the newer phones. I have an iPhone 5. It's more of the same, but I'm cool with that

yea thats why im on craigslist etc looking to buy one outright
my contract isnt even over its 3 years here in canada, and to upgrade early i have to pay like 90 bucks, plus price of phone, plus upgrade fee

i just need a phone asap

get an s3 it is one of the best made Android OS phones out there. I'm on a Nexus 4 which is made by LG... not as great of a build as the samsung phones but it is the best bang for you buck @350 brand new.
I haven't seen it in person but read good things about sony new experia phone. What carrier are u on? I'm assuming Bell or Rogers if you in Canada with an iphone.

i remember that old thread on SOHH saying canadians getting locked into those 3 year phone contracts. ridiculouscheck out the nexus 4 and see if its available in canada, thats the best option as far as affordability and buying outright
