It was bound to happen eventually. These classes got way too many kids due to illegal immigration, teachers are paid shyt, & the stresses of teaching are compounded by the huge class sizes and other issues that come from teaching kids from working poor families (feeling like an amateur child psychologist and social worker).

Now the gap between working poor black/latino families and rich families gets wider as these kids will now miss out on possibly weeks (months?) of schooling.

6th grade was a GOAT year, we had a teacher strike. me and my two best friends sat at each other's houses or on the phone watching music videos (after wrapping up our daily lesson) for like 3-4 months

i guess you can't leave 11/12 year olds at home alone anymore

These are cafeteria workers.

My former school Superintendent will handle it. He's a great administrator
