Been trying to up my transition game to keep loops fresh. Sometimes I drop out a snare, or kick, or maybe double up snare at end of 4 bars... Sometimes I add delay to the last snare of the bar and drop the kick of the beginning of next bar... Cutting delay out right before next snare. shyt I kight even replace that last delayed snare w a clap. You can take it to the next damn level for doing a reversed cymbal to build up to that next snare.
Another thing I may do is add an automation on a thick reverb and open it wayyy up on the last snare to let it coast into the next bridge or whatever. Works great!
Any more tips to give freshness and movement?
