what type of graphic novels?

The more famous stuff like the darknight returns, watchmen, v for vendetta, walking dead....anything highly rated...kind of interested in those ninja turtles ones as well. I would also like anything horror related....like those EC Comics, Friday the 13th, Halloween, Army of Darkness etc.

All of Neil Gaimen's sandman stuff is dope.

While all of it's not quite Horror look for Alan Moore's Swamp Thing run....Hell the current run of Swamp thing has a lot of horror in it.

The D (where it's so cold)
Hey, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to those Oblivion graphic novels. I caught the trailer to the movie with Tom Cruise and was :whew:

So I know the graphic novel has got to be raw. Is it a good read?, I plan to run through them tonight if the series isn't that long.

Our local library sucks the graphic novel section is very small. The Dark Knight Returns was filed under lost in the computer. Ended up checking out Batman Year One and The Killing Joke. Read the Killing Joke great stuff.

Also drove an hour and 35 minutes to the nearest comic shop. Ended up picking up some wack Night of the Living Dead comics. Thought I had a complete run only to find out my issue #1 was from a completely different series. I guess that was a welcome to the comic world. Also found out comics are released in like 5 different covers. NOTLD has a standard,b/w,gore,and wrap-around cover.

Crept up on some dope sites newkadiacom and mycomicbookshop.com are gold. Thinking about splurging on that Cage 1992 series 20 issue run them joints like a dollar and 10 cents a piece. Wondering what condition them shyts in though they say near mint and very fine but who knows.

Going through Walking Dead right now. Imma read either Sandman or Preacher next. I like more of the gritty, "serious" comics. Not that boom boom pow superhero stuff. Exceptions are The Killing Joke, TDKR' etc. Only really like to read series that were written by 1 person.

V for Vendetta was really good to me.
