Looking for a free WMV splitter/joiner

I am trying to take clips from a single WMV and join them together.

I know there is free software out there for this, but I wanted to get the word from folks that may already use or swear by a certain program.

I'd appreciate any suggestions or pointing in the right direction.

Don't know about free, but WinAVI usually does the trick for simple stuff

For advanced editing/conversion/joins etc, I use Adobe Premiere

The windows movie maker should do the trick also

I tried WMM but that shyt took forever.

In the interim, I downloaded and checked out a program called AsfBinWin, I'll report back on the results.

If that doesn't work, I'll definitely check out the other programs. Thanks for the suggestions.

I saw the Boilsoft stuff before, at their website here:

It says free on the page, is it some type of license/trial thing?

I tried that ASFBinWin...thought it was gonna be easy...but it doesn't render the output files correctly, and outputs to ASF only

I'm gonna try the Boilsoft now.

anybody got a program to convert vids to dvd?....like if I download vids from youtube and I want to convert to em to dvd and burn em?.....anybody got a link?
