first that shyt out of context for jokes i wanna hear how the line fits in with the versehe was nice... he just is very limited by overworking one muscle as an mc, something that a lot of punchline mixtape rappers struggled with. they work on lines not songs so they will force bars. he was entertaining for what he is. the fact that he even made some bangers puts him above a lot of other rappers in that lane who couldn't write a song worth shyt. same reason most battle rappers can't make music. Cassidy was corny a lot but i don't hate him. if we doing this we gotta revisit a lot of fab lines too cuz he had a mean shyt streak off corny lines

Nah Cass was good in the early to mid 00s. Delivery was there, with confidence and everything. He fell off in 2010s and kept making uninspiring material.

But that's newer Cass so not really "looking back." He's ass now and didn't evolve with the times but he was def as nice as we thought he was
