.... why the fact that Barkley won the war was always left in the dust :smh:

Barkley had 36/13 in that game

Not to mentioned what happened in the playoffs.....

I always said that Chuck and Magic Johnson are the two most unique basketball players I've ever witnessed.

This dude was 6'5-6'6 and dominating on the boards and in the post. Not only that, he could score from anywhere on the court with the J, plus he was a great passer.

He also had some spectacular blocks. The best chase down blocks this side of Lebron

yea Barkley and Larry Johnson were amazing to watch being 6'6 and getting 20/10 like nothing.

At the top.
Barkley was a fukking crazy athlete. Dominated the boards despite being an undersized PF. He was dunking on nikkas and gave 0 fukks. Imagine if he actually practiced/trained hard?

Oh yeah and his ignorance, shyt talking and toughness were amazing. Salute Sir Charles!

To me Chuck was the greatest power forward ever up until Duncan (who is really a center) came through. And i think Charles got the most out of his career for not being in "supreme shape". The man was pretty much25 and 12 for most of his career and even got an MVP to his credit. Definitely wish he would have won a ring but them be the breaks sometimes. We gonna see a lot of so called great players in this era retire without a ring as well.

One of my favorite players growing up, dude could basically do everything on the court and for someone who reportedly didn't work on his game/practice that much, he was crazy athletic and had moves too.

Sidenote: it's a pity how he will be reminded as having "only" one MVP and no rings and people will forget he played in an era where there was actual legit competition (including that one guy :mjpls:)

IMO less than in that era: first off you had :mjpls: , Magic and Bird were still around, then came cats like Ewing, Malone, Olajuwon, Robinson who were legitimate MVP candidates year in and year out...not even talking about Pippen (his 94 campaign :obama:)...Drexler, Wilkins putting up numbers...teams like the Sonics who were making noise, real defense being played...I'm just saying that guys playing in that era would've had more hardware to their name had they played now, in an era where guys like D.Howard are considered MVP candidates

Being from Phoenix and watching Charles play during that era was an honor. I recall watching this game and going right out and working on my post game, spins and reverse layups. The post players of the 90's were amazing.
