I need to cut some costs from my monthly expenses and its looking like my $35 a month gym membership has to go.

What are some good products out there? I was looking at Resistance bands and possibly a few dumbells. Anything else I may need? It's probably just for maintance since I stopped lifting heavy last year.

90 dollar dip bar station.. you can do dips and reverse rows aka supines...

10dollar pull up bar you can put up on your door...

45lb weight plate to do curls, shoulder press, abs and pull up rows for traps that prob costs 50 bucks

and pushups for days....

What kind of workouts do you do

Honestly if you are just looking to maintain the only thing you will need weights for are shoulders and legs. Everything else you can hit real nice w/body weight stuff (dips + chins)

I normally work on beauty muscles (chest, triceps, biceps, shoulders, etc.) Looking at a pull up bar but don't know which one. I rent a one bedroom apartment that's pretty old so I don't want to fukk anything up. What's the sturdiest pull bar?

Hmm... I was gonna say get one of those combined dip + chin up racks but you migth not have the room. Then again if you live alone you might. I don't like the ones that hang off the door because they don't feel as sturdy and you could fukk something up... especially if you do em weighted

Pull up bar for your door frame. A bar and 4x45 plates so you can do deadlifts and clean presses getting a full body workout. A jump rope and an ab wheel. You should be good with your physical fitness, friend.

Yea whatevers left you can maintain with floor excercises. I mean if you can do 100 burpees in 10x10 sets, you're powerful. You just have to find ways to work your whole body since you may have to fall back on using a wide variety of weights. The fact i weigh 195 and can do 10 pullups per set on my door frame means my arms are pretty strong. Once you get the dead lifting and clean press in there combined with squats and jumproping you've practially worked your entire body there. You can do bench with 225 until you max out if you like or work with less weight. Dips can be done on a pullup door frame bar which can be put on the floor and used for other excercises. You can do it. Lets keep being fit, friend. :lawd:
