Trailer had all the promise in the world...when it came out the movie was pure ass

Everything I’ve seen so far makes it come across as a love child of ‘The Blackcoat’s Daughter’ and Villeneuve’s ‘Prisoners’, two projects that kicked a lot of ass to me. Some directors just have those lanes they can’t really go wrong in and I think occult horror is that for homie.

Think I'll check out some Maika Monroe movies. I've only seen It Follows and I halfway watched The Watcher. I forgot Independence Day 2, wish I still could
