So I woke up this morning, turned on the TV for a min....while I'm going thru the channels, I see the Longhorn Network has been added right after the ESPN channels.

I. AM. ANGRY.

Nobody wanted this sorry channel for well over a year, so now I guess they're giving it away free. I am supremely disgusted.

But to be fair, ditching that rivalry would've cut out ALOT of revenue from OU....and truth be told, we really don't wanna go to the SEC...they way we're currently built, we'd be a 3 loss team every year.

Look at what OU does with ppl like Sam Bradford, Jason White, Landry Jones....nobody had ever heard of these dudes coming outta high school.

Meanwhile, Texas is stocked full of 5 star recruits every year and still underachieving.

I dont wanna go too deep here, but Texas has been a 1-MAN team since 2004. Vince Young, Colt McCoy....nobody else mattered. No standout RB's(which is a damn shame considering the backs they recruit), no standout WR's, nothing.....nothing but a few very good defensive players like Orakpo, Earl Thomas, couple others.
