I'm sorta in a market for a new HDTV, 65" minimal but noticed a trend among HDTV's of size 60" and larger, complaints of the shyt breaking and dying within 2 years of ownership on a much higher scale than HDTV's 55" and smaller which I find troublesome.
I remember I purchased my first HDTV back in 2006 which was a Polaroid 37" that lasted about 5 years. I got a 65" Toshiba dlp which in 2007 which is still beasting till this day. I traded some cat some shyt for his 32" Samsung led and the shyt died after a month or two.
Bought a few more HDTV's since then between the sizes of 26" and 42" and they are going strong still. Since dlp has been so good to me, I might just go with a projector.
