I watched Volume 5 RELIGIOUSLY the summer before my 8th grade year, memorizing moves and even the dialogue exchanges between AO and shyt inside the grocery store. All of this in hopes of helping my chances to make the basketball team.

I practiced those moves diligently, was the only tall, chubby nigguh with Hot Sauce-like handles at the local basketball court, I felt super versatile.

Get to tryouts, and the coach straight up clowned And1. Told us not to come in there with that shyt, and that most of the moves pulled off in And1 were illegal. Said that it wasn't real basketball. The feeling was similar to when I was first told that wrestling wasn't real. A young chubby nigguh never even had the chance to do a crossover, just did some back-and-forth chest passing drills on the way to getting cut
