That was 2-3 albums ago. Most mainstream rappers have a fake retirement to promote album sales. The Game Born 2 Rap was supposedly his last album and he’s had a couple since then for example.

Honestly yeah. His rhymes schemes are on point and the production is some of his best beats in years (imo since Under Pressure)
