figure we should get one going. talk about your jobs, certs, city and all that noise.

as of now im working with a cable company, Rogers, basically i set up boxes, switches, filters splitters and all that stuff while being a sales rep in the side as well.

$20 as hour, easy work, not bad at all. im in the lobby of a condo typing this as we speak.im letting my phone charge a bit more before i head up to the second cable/broadband closet to wire it up. right now im around don mills in Toronto.

I've been loafting though, i need to get my A+ and my network +

also stilll enrolled at uni, but not really doing much.

just a comptia for now but soon a mcp. I work for state farm at the help desk. Its torture but we get paid alright (17.60). I'm ready to boss up but i got to pay my dues first

All i have is help desk experience through the army. No college, and I'm working on every cert now. N+, security plus .. A+ server plus and everything else by comp tia.

I currently do not work for any company doing anything IT related but i wish i did

ALL I HAVE IS MSCE AND A+ TRYING TO FIND TIME TO SCOOT DOWN THAT CISCO PATH. I'D RATHER BE DOING SOME HANDS ON STUFF OVER SITTING IN AN OFFICE ALL DAY SO I'M SWITCHING UP.

yeah man, beats the hell out of driving a fork lift or lifting boxes all day.:aicmon::whew::yayo:

:sadcam: I remember those days. Working in a warehouse and it's 90+ outside. I thank god at least once a week that I don't have to do that anymore.
