Only field I know that does this might be education. my moms was a teacher for the chicago public schools, and they paid all her loans back. but of course this was from the 70's to the late 2000's, so she put in over 30 years anyways. usually, there's a stipulation of how long u gotta stay if u want them to forgive ur loans.

My girl is an attorney and if you work for the govt for 10 years (doesn't have to be consecutive) they will pay off the balance of any student loans you owe. This may be just for the state of AZ tho.

It's national. That's the Public Service Loan forgiveness program the OP was referencing. Any gov't state or local job applies. I think this also applies if you work at a state college/uni.

I would be careful letting my employer pay for any loan or classes because they usually require you to work for them a certain amount of time. If you leave before your commitment then you have to pay for the full loan back. A lot of employers do not pro rate the loan.

What happens if you apply for another job and get the job?
