Lloyd Banks Open To Working With Nas, Not Game (2011)

This past Wednesday's RapFix Live one year anniversary was jam packed with enough surprises to last us another year. Rapper Consequence revealed that he finally made a mends with former G.O.O.D. Music boss Kanye West, Maino reflected on a more positive side of the Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj battle and G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks said that he would be open to working with fellow rapper Nas.

"I don't know" Banks answered Sway after an audience member asked if Mr. PLK would work with Nas in the future. "I'd be down for it though. Yeah. Nas is a legend. Happy birthday to him."

The history of bad blood between Nas and the G-Unit camp dates back to Unit boss 50 Cent's entrance into the rap game. Nas and 50 were close friends back in the days when Esco was at war with then nemesis Jay-Z. For example, according to sources 50 Cent was on hand when Nas penned his classic dis record "Ether" going at Hova. Unfortunately things went sour when Nas replaced Fif on a Jennifer Lopez single as the rapper was in a Jamaica, NY hospital recovering from nine gunshot wounds. According to 50, he was offended that Nas didn't converse with him on the collaboration during one of the lowest points in his life. Another blow to the relationship was due to Nas' relationship with the Murder Inc. camp.

"I heard that n---a Nas talk about me. He don't want it with me, he can't even f--- with my n---as. Did you hear this n---a Banks? Oh my God." 50 Cent rapped on the mixtape favorite track, ""Y'all N---az Starvin."

This week marks the first time a member of the Unit revealed they would be open to a collaboration of such with the Queensbridge king. However, one collabo you shouldn't expect is with a former G-Unit member.

"No, I already knew what it was," Banks quickly answered when asked if he would ever consider working with Game. "I've been doing this for ten years. No."
