This is not a replacement for actual cable at all. I just wanna sit back and flip through channels and let Adult Swim or something play in the background if I'm not paying attention.

Missing out on sports?

nikka, ONLY THE REASON to have cable is for sports! If just wanna flip through channels & have something on in the background, do you have an antenna hooked up to get you local channels?

Why would I have to know sports streaming sites when I got cable

I have used first row sports for PPVs but that shyt is terrible quality and spyware central. Watching sports on a pixelated buffering stream

I steal cable. Still don't have a HD tv yet lol. I'm using a sony wega that weighs like 200 pounds My cable is analog so when I watch football on fox and espn it's formatted to fit my screen like a DVD movie

I got rid of my cable a few years ago and I really don't miss it...there was never anything good on anyway besides sports.

Netflix, Youtube, Torrents, and filesharing sites pretty much have anything I'd ever want or need to watch. Only real advantage of cable is being able to watch all the sports games you want, and I'm not that heavy into sports (though I do watch football) that it's worth paying for just for that.

shyt is on the internet 30 minutes to an hour after it airs. That's if you can't find an HD stream while it's on.

You know anybody with Cable TV willing to front you their log in info? I use my parents info for the WatchESPN, showtime now, HBO Go and other apps.....
