Listening to/Critiquing others music

I really think it would bring more life and vibrancy to this forum if we had a more community mindset and listened to an critiqued each others' music. Everybody posts their song and gets 0 replies and like 15 views. There are enough of us here that every post should have at least 10 replies. If you post one, listen and respond to 2. It could really get this section jumping and alive. I know everybody's not going to feel every beat from everybody else but I'm sure you can challenge yourself to think of something constructive to say. I feel like the rule should be even if you feel like something sucks you don't say nothing about that aspect of the production unless you have a viable solution that you're also offering. If you got knowledge share it. If you got an opion (positive) share it. Who's with me?

I feel you breh. What you described in your post was pretty much the glory days of the tunnel. It'll have it's moments, but it's never long lasting. nikkas just lose interest and fade away and then a new set of dudes will come here and the process begins again. lol.

I don't mind listening to tracks and giving feedback so If you got a joint or two, just post them up and tag me and I'll respond.

Or shoot the PM, it doesn't matter.

I'm down to give real constructive criticism and not sugar coat it. I frequent other messageboard/forums that do this more effectively. I'm not sure how to make it work here without burying everything unelss we wanted to stick with SC comments, and make them private or soemthing... that way you get feedback you give feedback vice versa

edit: but there shoudl be a time limit or something, i'm super busy so i would only have random times to sit down and really absorb some new content especially for critique. but lets do it

Nah I mean I don't want it to interrupt important obligations but it's like what 3 beats posted per week? It doesn't take too much time I don't think to listen right fast and say something. As for the sugar coating folk can keep it 100 with me. That don't mean going out your way to be nasty but I can't get better without good criticism which I think I have got. And I appreciate the folk who PM me 2. I just feel in looking at the board it's all these vibrant discussion forums with sports hip hop and piff. No way the locker room should be more active than the damn Tunnel. No disrespect to TLR brehs. Just saying this board is based off hip hop culture so it's contributions to hip hop culture shouldn't fall on deaf ears.

To clarify, I meant I don't want to spend my time giving constructive feedback, only to have crickets in return. I know you give feedback, but it takes more than 2 people trying to change the culture, esepcially when we care enough to help others, and just ask for the same in return. Would be cool to have like a quote thing, quote and comment "leaving constructive crits, what you can build upon, what stood out as not as developed/strong" and then you give a listen to critique later. Nothing like, here's my whole sound cloud hear anythign you like? but more like individual tracks. /rant
