:wow:

The last meeting I had was with Swizz and Khaled and they're executive producing this new LOX album," Sheek revealed to MTV News on Tuesday after he and Wu-Tang's Ghostface Killah played their collaborative Wu-Block album for us exclusively.

With DJ Khaled and Swizz Beatz at the helm, it is still unclear which label (or labels) will put out the album, but according to Sheek, artists and execs are lining up to make offers. "Lil Wayne tried to sign us, Puff tried to re-sign us and paint that picture over, we done been in mother---ers' living rooms and talkin' business," he said. "The meeting we just had with Swizz and Khaled about executive producing this project was the one that grabbed us and we're gonna give y'all some real, real big records."

Working with connected record men like Khaled and Swizz has its benefits, and it's already starting to pay off with Ms. Beatz, better known as Alicia Keys, contributing to the LOX project. "I was just in the studio the other night with us and Alicia Keys working on the Lox project and get ready y'all," Sheek revealed. "I'm sorry for the delay and the wait, but this joint is gonna be monstrous, man."

Agreed it's never coming out. They just keep dangling the carrot to keep their names out there, because they know that more people care about the Lox group shyt than their solo ventures (Sheek and Styles especially).

Well there goes any interest I had in listening to this album...I swear the lox is the most misguided group in rap history.

I agree with you, but I think its more their own fault. They flop around and are on everyone's d**k. Particularly the South. They never really make original music...only what is hot/trendy at the moment. We Are The Streets was damn near a personal classic to me. :why: cant we get more efforts like that from them?

Their solos are cool...but funny thing is...I think Sheek solo>Styles P>Jada (except for that Donnie G joint...was corny to me) :lolbron:

Diamond Life was Piff....Consignment was :ehh:

They arent consistent with any particular brand of music and I think that hurts them. Wu Block is gonna set it off though I think....as far as Swizz and Khaled being involved...dont think that would be one I would cop.

I would like to see the Lox release another album but i don't know if they would move numbers in this musical climate right now. Mabye we should be happy with mixtapes and guest appearances. But if they drop an album i would definitely cop it.

I'd be hard pressed to think of something worse than a Lox album full of Swizz and Khaled. :piss::trash:
