It is missing that RAWNESS
In his mixtapes and S80 he HAD that raw ish
But not in this album

Album is very good though, but he's done better
And now we know why!

Dre probabaly just let K dot be...the part of how Dr signed K dot was because K dot had consequences in his music...although typical motherland artform does, most rap glorify the negativity in their situation...K dot rapped about the consequence...and Dr just let it be, but where he got his chance on a feature, prolly, advocated the hook...

Also Dr Dre, just let the music be because Dr Dre didn't produce a lot of songs on GKMC

Kendrick also utilized some of the producers from Section 80 - Sounwave, 'HC, etc

Dre may have had the music mixed sonically, but the album does not have Dr Dre typical music sound

Also, section 80 Independently produced, and had an organic sound and kendrick prolly got used to the producers...
GKMC, k dot also worked with new producers to the lyrics...
