All Star
Hip-hop megastar and Cash Money/Young Money man Lil Wayne - most famous for his rapping and songwriting - has confessed that hes become bored of rapping and writing songs.
Speaking to Atlanta-based radio station Hot 107.9 , Wayne revealed that hed grown tired of constantly writing, rapping, and recording songs - and hoped to move onto other projects. And, with Wayne previously saying that hed like to musically retire in his 30s, hes now 29, it looks like the end of his career could be looming closer and closer.
Being me, I always feel like I ain't done nothing yet, so I'm always looking for the next thing to do, Wayne told the radio station. It does get pretty boring when it comes to just the rapping and all that type of stuff. I've been doing it since I was eight and I'm about to be 30 in September.
He continued on to talk about his future and his fans, saying:
I think I deserve [a rest]. I think fans deserve a little-to-no Wayne. I've been everywhere. I've been out on everybody's song. My artists are doing awesome; I believe the fans deserve some peace from me, so I'll be on my skateboard in the meantime.
