Thats just a very expensive way to say "homeless":troll:

But seriously, I'd love to do it only for the Antarctica trip. I've always wanted to go but most of the packages go for 20k for just 2wks out there. Even as a passport bro, I can't rationalize it. That's enough for 6months in most of the world.

I even tried to go on a research expedition cause I thought most people wouldn't want to live in an icebox causing job vacancies; but all their contractors are booked out for two years straight.

It's to the point that legit PHDs are competing for junior roles just to be in Antarctica :mjcry:

If you had the money, it is the same as paying around 2,600 a month in rent for 3 years

:yeshrug:

Plus you would only be surrounded by other ppl with their bread together. Seems like a deal tbh

Cheaper than paying rent and periodically taking vacations to see the same countries.

Perfect for work at home ppl

Let’s see.. 30 racks/year covers all my expenses and I don’t have to worry about the day to day shyt? That’s not a bad deal. The countries I don’t care much for I can just stay on the boat.

It’s not that bad if you’re able to work remote. But I wouldn’t want to be on the water for that long. I think it would get old after 6 months. One upside is you get to make a lot of new connections so after the trip you’d have plugs everywhere.. one of the most underrated pros of traveling.. fukk a tourist price/experience.. moving like a local.. all the hidden spots :wow:

I have a strong feeling the superficialness would overwhelm and drain everyone

:hubie: 10 days was too long for us … only so many restaurants/activities on the boat. It’s better to book different 10-14 day cruises on different ships.

This would be ideal for someone in retirement
