How did you do it?
I believe I was using the mad tyrant dagger, alone with the amulet that gave damage on hit, with the aegis shield also used the perfect parry grindstone. I keep the crit buff up from the fable talent and kind of burst him down in small spurts.

I believe I had legion wish stone so I could block and attack with aegis as much as possible

To be fair, I generally do way better against speedy bosses over slower ones though.

:comeon:

So I chose "give your heart" at the end not knowing it's an instant game over, and you can't even fight the last boss.

Why the fukk would the entire game be hinged on one decision literally in the last 5 minutes of a play through?

Goofy shyt. The game is cool but I'm not running through the whole thing again for 1 boss fight.

That exact thing happens in Bloodborne with Moon Presence also

Yeah but you have to eat all three umbilical cords for that to happen.

As far as I know (and I could be wrong, I could've done something accidentally) you get the "give heart" choice no matter what.

I'm pretty sure you have to tell a certain amount of lies to even get the option

Nah, just checked the guide and nothing else matters. Doesn't matter what choices you make, or if you tell the truth, etc.

Oh nvm. I did exactly what you did in this game in BB though. I did eventually face Moon Presence on a replay

Supposedly you have to have a certain amount of humanity.

And the amount is pretty low.
