Any tips bruh? This my first time playing something like this? I’m picking it up pretty decent but know I can get way better.
-- Since this is modelled after Bloodborne, the game rewards you for being... cautiously aggressive is the best way I can put it. You take reduced damage when you block, but you can recover a good portion of that back if you can dish out damage in return. Elites, mini bosses and main bosses can be damage sponges, so you're going to have to take advantage of elemental weaknesses, and also get them into a staggered state for a Fatal Attack. But don't spam your attacks, your stamina can run out quick and you're fukked.
-- Explore every nook and cranny. A ton of secrets out there for you to find.
-- When leveling up, don't spread out your attributes. Figure out if you want a Motivity, Technique, or Advance build, and pump the majority of your points into that stat, with health (vitality) and stamina (vigor) as secondary focuses.
-- Don't be ashamed to just tuck tail and nope the fukk out sometimes. Whether you're just trying to find the next Stargazer, you're just trying to recover lost Ergo before engaging a tough enemy, or you want to bring the fight to an area a bit more favorable for you, do what you gotta do. Just watch your fukking stamnia.
-- Do NOT consume the rare boss Ergo you get after you beat a boss. Assuming you're not far into the game yet, you'll eventually be able to trade them for some strong ass weapons (Puppet Ripper gang, whattup? Twin Dragon gang, whattup?).
-- Throwable items are OP and can be used as a crutch for tough fights. Same can be said for specters in boss battles.
Just a few things that come to mind. Anything specific you have questions about?
