Ask stupid questions brehs
My question makes perfect sense for the demographic it's aimed at.

I'll let the thread rock for a few more hours before I go tag all the neoliberals hiding from giving an answer.

No:yeshrug:

Bush's policies allowed him to do that by making them seem normal:scusthov:

That's why I said the PNAC damage was irreversible, the Gov't got that taste of expanded power and aren't giving it back:birdman:

It's still fucc Bush tho:yeshrug:

This is not a Bush support thread.

In the 2008 election, President Obama campaigned on change we can believe in - a progressive platform. In 2012, he campaigned off the back of OWS and the 99%. His entire argument against Romney was based on the slogans and energy of the progressive platform.

Here we are in 2016, and folks are arguing, not for progressivism, but moderate domestic policies, neo con foreign diplomacy, and pragmatic posturing in public.

So this thread is really based on two questions:
- If you're a neoliberal, what exactly about Bush's policies were you against from 2000-08?
- If you're a neoliberal, what were the changes you believed in, in 2008, that lead you to vote for Obama over Hillary?
