They made you walk through the streets with a basketball at all times...ol "let's be Omar Epps from The Program" ass muthafukas. This game was trash, outside of NBA Street these games were trash and Street became dumpster juice after the second one because there was no topping it.

The Chi (South Side)
lets talk about next gen nba streets :ohhh:

I'd love nba streets where they update the rosters as players are traded also.

I enjoyed the two games they had. The second was actually better than the first.
The somewhat free roam but yet linear story mode was great. Both games had top notch soundtracks.

Say what you want about streetball itself, but the mid to early 00's was a great era for the games.
Ironically, the brand that revitalized the craze (AND1) had the worst games put out in the genre.
'Street Hoops' was okay, but 'AND1: Streetball' the game was terrible.
All in all, they'd have to give these types of games away for free today.
The 'NBA Street' series could move units off nostalgia alone though. Doesn't hurt that the series was actually great.
