he had the full support of quik.. he wouldve blown up imo... easlily couldve been on mack 10 wc westcoast status...

it sucks cause you can see quik sort of lose it when maus died...
imagine a full album of quik , suga free (prime) and mossy... plus the featrues 2nd to none , amg etc... wouldve been a classic
hell the konnected project is a underground west coast classic and 1/4 of that album is straight filler..

Ill never forget when he died.......shyt was sad as fukk.......they blasted him on the 4th of July......Quik and Theo were both crying on the air back when there was 92.3 The Beat.......I got a chance to meet him before he died.....nikka was cool as fukk........he would have been one of the greats on the West Coast.......

Only way he wouldve blown up, is if dre got him from quik, just off the strength of the situation he was in before he died, the label he was with local joker central and they didnt have the legs to do anything. They later tried extorting quik, because quik still has a gang of songs and he isnt coming off any of them, just off the strength on how they did the non fiction album.
Non Fiction was suppose to have been mausberg with all quik production, they was working on it, quik took him in and put money in his pockets by letting him tour with him to make money get exposure, Quik arista situation went down the drain, they met at a quik show in 97 a guy name stan sheppard introduced him and was telling Quik he wanted to sign Maus to his label and would work with him, they spoke he rapped for him, quik was skeptical but they met again and just chilled and quik got to know him and liked him and took him under his wing, put mausber on a couple of albums rhythmalism and balance and options got him his 1st gold plaque, introduced him to snoop and got him a platinum plaque for his feat on the topp dogg album, Quik was using every connection he possibly use to help him get to his dream.
They was startin both the non fiction album and the Konnectid project, sheppard ended up signing suga free, quik free and maus started on the konnectid, some how big saccs and some locals jokers was added who basically leaches, saccs came to the label with a grudge, still being a snob like his lench mob and k-dee production days mattered at the time, he made efforts all the time to come by dj-quik.net to hate, make comments all the time about how quik never came to the forum to interact and people would reply how quik is out making money producing something he should be doing. that died out, he created himself a forum and was on some suge shyt tombout, if you wanna join a forum where the producer interacts with the fans come to bigsaccs.com, alot of us who were fans of both went and joined, and all he did was hate on quik, 1st 10 topics was quik bashing.
Fans shytting on him, lead to him taking his frustations to the studio, quik got maus in the studio working on shyt, saccs crying about why quik get to produce the whole thing, im trying to eat too, quik wasnt around saccs got the opportunity to work with mausberg, quik kept money is mausberg pocket, stan sheppard never paid him for nothing, the features and money he was making on other people albums he should have been able to move out the hood, but mausberg was young and didnt know nothing about publishing and was happy to get a record deal, thats what pissed quik off later down the line after suga free's new testament album.
They back in the lab, quik drop him off, the very next day on 4th of july he is dead, Quik paid for the entire funeral and put em in a mausoleum, Quik broke alot of bread for the Non fiction album to be made, they were originally because to take a break,on the 4th and get back to it on the 5th, quik had the studio booked, and left the masters, stan got ahold of the masters added the big saccs stuff sent it to a cat who didnt know what he was doing and they put the album out with all the air in it.
