Ended up copping a month of btguard just to check it out.

I only got the bittorent proxy, not the full scale vpn. Very easy to use, you can download a bittorent package with it already on there. I also use the encryption package that comes with it, just for extra safety.

Works pretty well so far. D/L speeds do seem slower, upload is dead but for public trackers who cares. If anything, it's given me some piece of mind.
