Where do I begin, I don't know about you all but I'm getting tired of the conscious community. I used to be so excited to see new videos from the different speakers, like brother Polight, Sara Suten Seti, Bobby Hermit, Phill Valentine and etc. . I really used to learn so much, or at least I thought I did, however those days are over. It reached a point now where these guys are all arguing with each other or recycling the same information that is fueled by hate. They are now even exposing each other and in the process of them doing this, it reveals the fact that most of these guys are Frauds and Charlatans who only care about money. It also exposes the fact that these folks like Sa Neter for instance know about the different scam artist and charlatans but say nothing about it because they are benefiting off of them.

This shows that the conscious community is a waste of time and a trap for black people. I would even go as far as to say we are better off dealing with white people than these conscious clowns in some of these situations. I mean let's think about, they usually run sloppy business where they don't deliver products on time, they are even teaching pseudo bull crap like Aliens and Nubiru when (newsflash) we got a multiplicity of issues on planet earth. It's one thing for them to wake people up and take them out of the church but to then put them back to sleep and replace Jesus with themselves and the bible with alien bull crap is not progressive for our people.

The tip of the iceberg is, how are they supposed to help the black community unite when they can't even unite themselves.

Maybe I'm tripping but let's talk about this.

Far from a troll, but my point was that you might as well deal with the European if your dealing with some of these brothers.

There is no progress trying to deal with them or build with them and they are out here scamming and fooling the people.

You are the one who is a troll because you can't answer any of my questions.

I mean, it's a bunch of smart (?) dumb nikka stuff that they're talking. Their audience is mostly working-class Africans who get caught up learning about ancient Kemet (from which very few, if any, of most of our West/Central African ancestors had any ties to...) when they should be engaging with working-class organizations and class struggle on a mass level, and financial education/business-building on a personal level.

I don't consider anyone who isn't class conscious to be "conscious" at all.

I agree, we have more practical work to do as a people. What is ancient khemet going to do for us today anyway. We got to take it even further then where they took it. they built pyramids and that's cool but we got to come together and do greatness for our people in today's world. We have to be able to come together first.

How did you even find this shyt :russ:

Mind your business fam...fukk:mjlol:You went through a time machine or something?

Though I can explain further if you need me too. What I'm saying here essentially is that as far as black business goes we have a lot of work to do and have to step our shyt up. We have to connect and build so we have better infrastructures and service. When you do business with white companies and organizations they are professional and we need to be the same way as both customers and business people. Customers shouldn't look for a handout or discounts which I see some folks do and business people need to be more professional as well.

When it comes to these black conscious folks who sell bullshyt and do nothing for the community but sell dreams, false hope and leave empty promises they are black devils and even worse then the white man. That was the message I was trying to communicate. They are both bad but when your own people trick you I feel that it's worse because we need them and that last part about my shyt getting here on time was just a joke.

Lol.. For one, I didn’t “find” it, I’m browsing through this section of the forum and reading through; looking up content. This section is new to me , I’m not really paying attention to dates and much as the information and facts on the threads.

Thx for explaining. I’m not here to go back and forth with you bc you’ve been a good poster imo as far as what I’ve seen you state in the past and we’ve engaged in discussions before, I don’t have any problem with you . I agree about what you said about some members of the conscious community being sell outs and hypocrites , taking advantage ; I get that perspective -but the whole “we need to do better “ narrative is played. 1) Who is this “we? ” bc the majority of black people aren’t sitting around trying to do “bad” 2) Without concrete examples, details and plan implementation, it’s just empty rhetoric. I choose to look at the positive aspects instead of focusing on the negative in order to be solution oriented. You can miss me with the “worst than the white man” comparison too. I don’t have time to get into how wrong that is to say and the false equivalencies of the statement rn,

Oh I see, I was just shocked cause I made this years ago, even reading the post I'm thinking to myself like wtf...I said that in that way :dead:

No problem and I agree, I don't want to argue over this with you but let's discuss it. To answer your questions..

1.We are us black people collectively. I feel we need to work together and step up our business and it's that simple. As Malcolm X said in 1964, we have to be loyal to ourselves, when we are loyal to ourselves the problem is pretty much solved. I can't tell you the amount of times I bought something from a black business and it came late or when I was dealing with the cashier at a store, they are having long frivolous side conversations and talking on the phone and all kinda crap that they don't allow in stores owned by other races or ethnic groups. Customer service is important, professionalism to a degree is important and there is room for improvement in many black business. Now there are some excellent black and conscious business places, don't get me wrong but we need more of that.

We need more unity and I know it's easier said then done but it's what we need in order to progress. I hate to say it but when more people were under the christian church at least we were united for a common cause. I'm not saying we should go back to that, or join a religion to unite us but we need to find something that can create that bond again among us. I don't find an issue with saying we need to do better because the facts are that we have a lot of work to do as a race if we are going to improve.

2.I agree with this and it's what we need but I wasn't looking at the negative, I'm being realistic. How can you create a plan without knowing where the issues even lie. You have to find the issues then devise a plan of action in order to correct them. Many black business have to step it up if they want to be successful and I mean nothing other then that. I don't feel because it's our people we should only speak on the positive, we need to speak on the negative too in order to get rid of that.

As for my black devil comment: I'm not talking about the magnitude of what the white man has done and trying to compare them to that. However if the person is black they should know better and due to that they are more wrong imo and if you don't want to discuss it then it is what it is but that's how I feel about that. I understand white supremacy creates a crab in the barrel mentality and things like that but at this point many people know better and choose to tear down other people, lie to them and con them for there own benefit. No excuses for that. If you know what the white man has done and can talk about the history, why would you be conning other black people when you know we have been messed over. I think at that point you are just as bad as the white man if not worse and are a traitor.

The conscious community became too much of a loose Association of random black speakers delving themselves off entertainingly for views rather than a tight knit scholar program that covers multi-facits of black liberation/struggle.

To put it simply my nikka, there is no real conscious community where a mass of black people with high intellect in the streets come together to bring knowledge, though I would personally love to see that.

Most of it was all a hustle from day one... Bobby had genuine intentions in the beginning, but towards the end started to tailor his message and sell useless merchandise.... he still golden in my eyes tho

Exactly, as much as I hate to admit it you're right but I hope one day we are able to establish a real conscious community. We had sparks of it in the past so to speak like back in the 60s and what not but we are far removed from that in these times. The so called conscious community we have today is just for entertainment as you said with people arguing about a whole lot of nothing and leading people astray.

We really need to unite and get the bright and powerful men and women of our community together so that we can address a lot of the issues we face in the black community and come up with pragmatic solutions. A lot of people need to be empowered and uplifted and we also need to develop real economic programs because gentrification is hitting a lot of our communities and people are being displaced but so many people are distracted by bullshyt it makes it harder to establish this. You figure with social media this will be easier to establish but nah.. it's really not.

Yeah I think Bobby was genuine and he always had his sources for his information too but he really used to try to sell useless merchandise?

Thank god I didn't see a lot of his most recent lectures then because I would have hated to see that.
