I got my pistol permit a little while back, but recently with all this talk about :ban: guns. I'm ready to start stock piling them shyts up. I'm not gonna be caught slipping in my own home...nah mean.

So I just wondering what kinda guns ya'll got? How many? Whats your favorite? Etc?

For now all I got is a Glock 26, 9MM....yeah yeah its only a 9 MM, but it will get the job done...don't front. Plus I'm a better shot with the 9MM compared to a .40 cal. I'm deadly accurate with this thang...you standing still, moving, whatever, I'm clapping ya. This is the gun I carry on me...bout 90% of the time, you see me, you know the burner on my hip. Loaded, I just don't keep 1 in the chamber. I want you to hear the sound of that getting cocked back so you know shyts real.

This is what it looks like. Its not really too small, got the extended grip so I can fit my pinky. It fits perfect on the hip, not too bulky, can't really be seen/can't tell its under my shirt.

Now I want to get this thing of beauty to keep under my couch.

The Colt 1911 :noah: Chromed out :ohlawd: .45 cal :whew: You don't want to get shot with the .45. I figure 2 pistols...good enough :manny: Then I want an AR and a combat shotgun. But I just really wanna now what my coli brehs use for personal protection on a daily basis...what ya'll staying strapped with walking down the street.

Big tactical no no. If you're ever in a life and death situation, the adrenaline and panic is going to suddenly turn you into a clumsy dikkhead. You definitely don't want to be fumbling with the slide. You have to be able to draw and shoot as fast as you can, especially since you're going to already start at a disadvantage(if you're not the attacker, that is).
Also the glock has an internal safety, so there's really no problem in carrying with a round in the chamber.

No offense, but this is stupid. You're playing with your life. Don't ever draw your gun unless you're absolutely ready to fire and kill. The movie tough guy indimidation routine with jacking a round in the chamber can only make things worse. You're escalating things. Someone is either going to take your gun away and stick it up your ass, or he'll just retreat momentarily and shoot you when you turn your back.

i got none dont need none,im not against guns but i dont see the use of assault rifles for personal safety, regular folks shouldn't have access to that shyt a handgun should be sufficient if you want to defend yourself

I hear ya and I've been told that by plenty of people, but I have my reasons to not have 1 in the chamber, just like people have their reasons to have 1 in there. If it was honestly a life or death situation where I had to draw and shoot immediately then yes I would be at a disadvantage, but I don't ever see that happening, yeah yeah but it might and I wouldn't be ready, but for my comfort I believe I would have enough time to draw, cock back and fight. I just don't see me and my enemy face to face drawing our weapons...hopefully I'm right, maybe in the future I will change to keeping one loaded. Thanks for your input.

Concealed weapons should finally be legal in illinois this summer officially. Thinking about getting a .380 to go along with my 2 .40 S&W's if that happens cuz the .380 is small as hell for concealment.

I still have my .40 cal HK USP compact. I did want to get a couple of FN57's, a Saiga 12, and maybe a AK47. I know people that have at least 12 or more guns.
