I think folks that didn't see him in his prime, think of him as the chubby old man that beat Moore.

Foreman in his prime was a monster, and even as an old man he had enough to win the title.

george's flaws in his prime were he didn't pace himself and he could be confounded by movers who can get off first with fast counters


gregorio peralta was the first to do it early in george's career in a losing effort but he made the fight close...which is why foreman had a rematch with him..he stopped him the second time around but i dont think could knock him off his feet

ali was the first to execute it successfully to beat him although in far more unconventional means (i.e letting george tee off on him)

jimmy young was the one who really exploited his flaws...he boxed him up and made him look foolish..and did it without taking the punishment that ali took
