not sure what that Jay-Z gif is about, but the KONY stuff exposed the hell out of the fake "activism" crowd and showed that a good marketing package + the internet + funding can lift any cause off of the ground if it appeared that the shyt was legitimate.
that shyt was some advanced, Einstein level trolling and it was amazing to see how many people (even celebs) were pumped up about "finding" Mr. Kony when 99.999% of the human population in the know had know idea who this dude was. Its a testament to the fact that people will believe damn near anything if you package it right and i got the feeling that this KONY shyt was a "test" for some new age of propaganda. And ya know, it worked.
