McCall was fresh out of a rehab stint for crack addiction. Don King took him out for that fight. Big mistake. Went through withdrawal in the middle of the fight, which led to us seeing his nervous breakdown. shyt was just bizarre as hell.
And apparently, McCall used to cry all the time before the fight as a pre-fight ritual to get himself psyched up

Weird dude, heard stories about him from people that had run ins. It's always creepy as hell to witness somebody having a breakdown.
I remember watching the first McCall vs Lewis and wondering why the hell he was crying, then he proceeded to give Lennox a two-piece that sent him to the canvas. I thought it was a premature stoppage but that second fight was just bizarre. Never heard that he was fresh out of rehab for it tho. Don King is a real a$$hole for that one.
The thing that had me more 
was the fact that when Lennox opened up and teed off on him...Oliver remained clear eyed and upright...never even saw him even wobble from a punch...ATG chin
